Unlike competing brands Dreame and Roborock, who unveiled new flagship robovacs at CES, Ecovacs revised one of its existing products. The new Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo combines a robot vacuum and floor washer with a stick vacuum. Both work with the same dock, benefiting from self-emptying features.

Similar to the Deebot X2 Omni

When it comes to the robot, the new Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo is almost the same product as the existing Deebot X2 Omni, introduced a few months ago during IFA.

It comes with an 8,000 Pa suction power and two rotating and liftable mop pads. It is also equipped with LiDAR technology and obstacle avoidance using an AI RGB camera. The X2’s station automatically empties the dust and dirt collected by the robot. It is also capable of washing the mop pads using hot water and to dry them. To do this, the dock uses two water tanks, requiring minimal human intervention.

This being said, Ecovacs did introduce a novelty into this model. Indeed, unlike the standalone model, the robot vacuum included in the Deebot X2 Combo supports Matter, This makes it one of the first products compatible with the smart home standard, together with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra.

A versatile product

The new Eocvacs Deebot X2 Combo adds a handheld stick vacuum to the existing product. It’s the first the first appliance of its kind on the market. Thanks to this, the Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo is particularly versatile. Indeed, it offers a single product to clean the whole house.

Not only does this create space, it brings extra convenience. With the stick attachment, users can vacuum hard-to-reach areas, furniture, cars, stairs, and more

Price and availability of the Eocvacs Deebot X2 Combo

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo should be available at the end of Q1 2024 for $1,600, costing just $100 compared to the existing Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni.
