In an effort to compete with Philips Hue and become a market leader in smart lights, Govee has unveiled a new range of products at CES 2024. These include two innovative lighting products: the Govee AI Sync Box Kit 2 and the Neon Rope Light 2.
In addition, GoveeLife, the new and independant smart home brand, also introduced two new smart appliances.
Next-generation lighting
The first product Govee announces is the AI Sync Box Kit 2, its newest gaming lighting system. This latest version supports up to 8K resolutions and ensures a smooth 4K experience at 120Hz. Its standout feature is the dynamic lighting synchronization powered by CogniGlow AI recognition. This technology automatically adjusts lighting effects based on in-game content, offering gamers a uniquely personalized experience. The system is also compatible with Govee Home, Alexa, and Google Assistant. Finally, it will receive a Matter-compatible update later this year.
Moreover, Govee introduced a new LED rope. The Neon Rope Light 2, which is an improved version of a fan favorite, features enhanced RGBIC lighting effects, bend clips, and flexible material for creative design customization. A notable addition is the Govee Home app’s shape recognition feature, allowing for a variety of DIY lighting effects. Available in black and white, the Neon Rope Light 2 is designed to complement any room’s aesthetics and is also Matter-compatible.
GoveeLife: Focusing on Smart Home Appliances
Furthermore, Govee’s new subsidiary has also unveiled new products. Operating independently, GoveeLife is expanding its range of smart home appliances with two new products. The GoveeLife Presence Sensor, which offers precise detection with a 120-degree horizontal and vertical range, enhancing home security. It is easy to install and can be controlled via the Govee Home app.
Finally, the new Matter Smart Plug Pro allows for cross-platform control of any smart home device, furthering GoveeLife’s commitment to providing accessible smart home solutions.
Price and Availability
The Govee Govee AI Sync Box Kit 2, Neon Rope Light 2, GoveeLife Presence Sensor and Matter-Certified Smart Plug Pro will be available in the first half of 2024.
